March Support Sessions from Bristol Parent Carer Forum

Feb 27, 2026

Bristol Parent Carer Forum is offering a range of free online and in-person support sessions throughout March 2026 for parent carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities.

The programme includes both online and in-person sessions covering important topics for parent carers. Online sessions include An Introduction to Makaton, How to be a Strong Advocate for your Child, Understanding the Health Section of an EHCP, and Supporting Healthy Relationships. There are also several Peer Support sessions available, both online and at locations across Bristol including Greenway Centre in Southmead, Fishponds Old Library and Inns Court in Knowle.

These sessions provide valuable opportunities for parent carers to develop skills, gain knowledge about supporting their children and connect with other families in similar situations. All sessions are free to attend and are designed to support parent carers in their important role.

For full details of all sessions and to book your place, visit https://linkbristolparentcarers.org.uk/gethelp or scan the QR code on the attached poster. The poster is available in English, Somali and Polish to ensure accessibility for families across Bristol.
