We are delighted to introduce Caroline as the new Assistant Headteacher and Special Educational Needs Co‑ordinator (SENCO) at Ilminster Avenue Nursery School. Caroline brings a wealth of experience, a deep commitment to inclusive practice, and a genuine passion for supporting children and their families.
Caroline has shared a warm welcome message with our community:
“Hi, I’m Caroline and I’m the Assistant Headteacher and SENCO at Ilminster Avenue Nursery. I am passionate about giving every child the best possible start to their learning journey and making sure they feel safe, supported and happy in our nursery. I have a strong understanding of special educational needs and work closely with families and staff to support each child’s individual needs. Building trusting relationships is really important to me, and I am always available for a chat if you have any questions or worries. As a mum to four children, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your child is being cared for and supported, and I strongly believe that working together helps every child thrive. Outside of nursery, I enjoy running, cooking, and spending time with my blended family.”
