We are delighted to announce that our new room has been built following a successful funding bid, enabling more spaces for our eligible two-year-olds in our community. We will be able to offer an extra 40 spaces across the week, significantly expanding our provision for families in the local area.
The plan is to start small and build up slowly, ensuring every child receives the best possible start. We will open, in January, to a group of 15 children at the beginning of the week. The lovely Sarah Coles will be leading the new room, bringing her wealth of experience as a very familiar and experienced practitioner to this exciting new chapter.
This term, we are planning to improve the new outside area to ensure the children have a fabulous space to play in. We will make the space look lovely and add a shelter and a sand pit to support outdoor learning and exploration. We hope to add planters to grow flowers as we progress, creating a nurturing environment that connects children with nature.
We are really excited to be extending our provision and offering it to lots more families in our community!
