Welcome to our wonderful inclusive mainstream nursery and specialist nursery in the heart of Knowle.

We work holistically with children and families, community groups and are fortunate to work alongside health colleagues who are based on site.

We are fortunate to have a staff team who are committed to both early years education and also working in partnership with parents and carers. Our staff and governors are united in our vision for children that they will leave us as enthusiastic learners, confident communicators and with a love of books and stories.

SMSA

SMSA (BG3)

Part time 7.5 hours per week, Permanent

Monday – Friday 11.30am-1.00pm (Term Time Only)

Salary pro rata £16,303.00 Actual £2,877.31

We are looking for an SMSA to work with us as a member of the team over the lunchtime period. The role includes setting up and clearing away the tables and supporting the children to eat their lunch, make choices and develop independence.

This post is currently working with the children aged 3 – 7 years but may involve working with children aged 3 months – 3 years on occasions.

Ilminster Avenue Specialist School Nursery are wanting to recruit staff to join our dynamic team in a variety of roles.

If you have outstanding practice that supports, challenges and engages young children and inspires other practitioners we look forward to hearing from you. The roles will be based in our specialist provision, working with children with a range of complex needs.

You will be able to build strong relationships with children, families and practitioners, ensuring learning is the best it can be.
